The Sandspur of Rollins College was founded in 1894, making it the oldest college newspaper in Florida. The Sandspur is published weekly on Fridays and maintains a circulation of 2,000.
The Editorial Board extends an invitation to our readers to submit letters and articles. In order for a letter to be considered for publication, it must include the name (published) and contact information (not published) of the author. We ask that letters remain under 500 words.
In considering a submission for publication, The Sandspur reserves the right to edit letters and articles; however, we do not assign copy editors to proofread submissions.
You may submit an article or letter in any of the following ways: 1. Mail to 1000 Holt Ave. - 2742, Winter Park, FL 32789-4499 2. Drop off at Mills Memorial Center, third floor. 3. E-mail to editor@thesandspur.org. 4. Use the "Letter to the Editor" link in the navigation bar to the left.
If mailing or dropping off a hard copy, please attach a disk or e-mail a digital copy. Submissions must be received in The Sandspur offices no later than 2:00 p.m. on the Monday prior to publication.
