Culture Fest at Rollins College

Culture Fest at Rollins College was a celebration of community and culture during Family Weekend.  With over ten student organizations and campus departments participating, the event, held at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 7, transformed Mills Lawn into a multicultural experience. From the Caribbean Student Association to the Office of International Student Support, each group brought a different piece of the world to campus.

Guests could travel across the world without even leaving Rollins by sampling food, enjoying live performances, and learning about the traditions that make each culture unique. The tables were full of color, sound, and hands-on activities. Caribbean Student Association offered face and mask painting inspired by carnival traditions, while the Black Student Union invited visitors to paint drums and the continent of Africa. Each stop offered a chance to learn and celebrate diversity within the Rollins community.

From the smell of international dishes to the music, Culture Fest captured the many cultures represented by Rollins students and faculty.
