Joining The Sandspur team is one of the best decisions that I have made during my four years at Rollins. As a Copy Editor for The Sandspur, I have seen how my academic skill set translates into “real world” ability for the first time.
My job here has provided me with the confidence that the skills I have developed and the knowledge I have obtained during college are strong enough to carry me into the next stage of my life.
I would like to thank The Sandspur for the invaluable editing experience it has provided me; it has truly been a pleasure to develop my editing skills while reading up on Rollins’ current events at the same time.
I would also like to thank current Head Copy Editor Alex Candage for all that ze has done, and will continue to do, for the publication.
I am so grateful to have seen The Sandspur improve during my time as a copy editor, and I know that it will only continue to get better after the torch has been passed.
