Student Philanthropy week is officially underway. From Monday, Nov. 10 to Friday, Nov. 14, you will have the opportunity to support Student Media at Rollins College.
To donate directly to Student Media on GiveCampus, click here. If you are accessing the main GiveCampus portal, you can select Student Media as one of your designations.
Donations will go toward supporting The Sandspur, WPRK, The Independent, and Brushing (SWIB).
Greg Golden, Director of Student Media, described SWIB’s branches in journalism, broadcasting, and the arts as spaces where students develop skills in leadership, teamwork and communication.
“Our organizations are student-run. The purpose of them is for students to get experience they might not get otherwise,” Golden said. “The work that Student Media does requires the support of its listeners and its readers.”
