Student Philanthropy Week advocated for gifts to 38 accompanying student organizations, including fraternities and sororities, cultural and academic groups, student media, community engagement programs, and club sports teams. Donations given through the Rollins Official Give Campus program instantly aid student-run initiatives and programs. This year, the event was supported by 489 donors total and raised a sum of $36,346.

Student Philanthropy Week is arranged by the Office of Annual Giving & Advancement Marketing by Rollins in collaboration with the Center for Campus Involvement. The Rollins student fundraising policy defines guidelines for accepted fundraising methods and fund management groups, who apply every fall and create their own campaign reports through their platform online.

The donations made throughout the week will help assist many students’ experiences, whether that be travel for competitions and conferences, supplies, cultural programming, or community service work. The initiative also provided students with important hands-on experiences in community engagement, leadership, and fundraising.

By shedding light on the influence of student-led philanthropy, Rollins focuses on fortifying the link between faculty, alumni, students, and staff while aiding initiatives that promote personal growth and campus involvement.

Student Philanthropy Week mirrors the mission at Rollins to prepare responsible leaders and global citizens by advancing collaboration, kindness, and service.
