Since 1952, WPRK has been a cornerstone of ‘basement radio,’ starting with an inaugural address by Dwight D Eisenhower, 34th President of the United States. Completely student-run, the station had grown into a 24/7 format by the 1990s, offering music, podcasts, live performances, sports analyses, and more feature contributions from students, faculty, and community members.

Ranking ninth in the nation among college radio stations, WPRK continues to represent an independent media and makes it easy for anyone to get involved regardless of their experience. Located on the first floor of Katheleen W. Rollins Hall, the station features a podcast booth, broadcasting booth, the iconic WPRK sign, and more.

Jordyn Burnett is the current station manager for 2025-’26 and hosts her own show from 11a.m. to 1p.m. every Thursday. Tune in any time and on any day to see what voices, music and more are coming from Rollins College.
