Students drew on the interior walls of the Archibald Granville Bush Science Center knowing this day would come, but the so-called “Bush babies” may still feel a little sentimental upon seeing a bulldozer hack away at the side of their beloved building.
Students and professors will spend a full school year out of the Bush building, learning in portable classrooms, while they await the completion of the renovated and expanded science center set to open in August 2013 — complete with not only more windows, but a three-story glass atrium.
