As school is back in action, so is Rollins sports.
Rollins Men’s Soccer is currently ranked No. 1 in the country, according to the United Soccer Coaches Poll released Sept. 8. The Tars are currently 3-2-1 overall and 1-1 in Sunshine State Conference play after an opening conference match against the University of Tampa.
Men’s soccer will continue conference play with an upcoming match at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University on Sept. 23.
The Tars compete in the Sunshine State Conference alongside the University of Tampa, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Lynn University, Florida Southern College, Barry University, Nova Southeastern University, Eckerd College, Florida Institute of Technology, and Saint Leo University.
Women’s soccer is 4-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play after defeating the University of Tampa 3-0 on Sept. 12. The Tars will also be facing off against Embry Riddle at home on Sept. 23.
Rollins Volleyball is 7-6 overall and 0–2 in conference play. The Tars competed in two out-of-state tournaments to open the season, traveling to Arcata, California for the Redwood Coast Volleyball Classic before heading to Valdosta, Georgia for the Valdosta State University Tournament.
At the Redwood Coast Volleyball Classic, Rollins went 1-3 against Jessup University, University of Nebraska at Kearney, Northwest Nazarene University, and Dominican University of California. Still, Jenna Garza (‘26) and Kayla Goodloe (‘29) were named to the All-Tournament Team for their performance.
The Tars bounced back at the Valdosta State Tournament, going undefeated against Paine College, Lander University, and Valdosta State. The Tars have an upcoming match against No. 3-ranked University of Tampa on Sept. 25.
The Rollins Waterski team officially kicked off its 2026 campaign on Sept. 12 at Champions Lake in Auburndale. The Tars renewed their annual competition against Florida Southern, with athletes from the University of Central Florida and the University of Florida also competing.
Rollins will compete at the South/Atlantic Coastal Regional at Divorce Lake in Valley, Alabama on Oct. 3-4. The Tars will then travel to California for the National Collegiate Waterski Association National Championship Oct. 15-17.
As fall sports enter the heart of their seasons, Rollins teams will look to build on their early performances and make their mark in conference play and beyond.
